I'm a big fan of Mexican & Tex Mex. Plaza Tapatia provides great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is hot and flavorful! Portions are very fitting. I have frequented the S. Salisbury location and now the N. Salisbury location (former Fudruckers building) makes this favorite eating establishment more convenient for me.
Thanks for opening your newest addition. Good Luck with your latest location.

Chili's is one of the best of the Formulaic Restaurant chains. The food is usally, very good, as is the service.
Although, I do need to personally inject, I dislike the typical waiter/waitress/server behavior shown, in most of these places. I know they're trained to perform, according to research studies.
I just find it offensive, when the wait person, squats down, next to my table to take the order. Or they sit down next to me in the booth. Then there's the rehearsed patter.. ie: "I'm Linda, and I'll be your server tonight, can I offer you a Martini?" It's just a little plastic to me.
Years ago a restaurant experience was just that! It was relaxing but with rules and manners. Because of the "family restaurant" theme, fine dining is really hard to find.

Let me start by saying 10-15 years ago I lived in the South, mainly Georgia. While there, it was a treat to go to a Sonic Drive in. A while back, when they opened one in Bridgeville, I was thrilled. After it was open a few weeks, we went there and it was an awful experience, on all counts. We kinda' wrote that off as; it was new, they were probably having a problem staffing, etc.
Last week I was on the phone with a friend in the South, and somehow we got on the subject of Sonic. My friend explained that Sonic sells a BLT (bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich). Ever since the call, I was drooling over the thought of one. So, today we were in the Bridgeville area and decided to give Sonic another try.
If anything, it has gotten worse. The place was filthy. The counter was sticky, and the tables inside appeared to be sticky and basically unclean. One employee was pretending to sweep the floor.
We stared at their menu for about 5 minutes, unable to find anything about a BLT. My wife asked an employee who said "yes, we have BLT's". Then my wife made the mistake of asking "how much does it cost". Naturally, the robotic, fast food employee with a "government school" education, had no idea of the price.
Robotron then turned and asked the price to, who we assumed was the manager. The manager didn't know the price. Just then another robot overheard the conversation and shouted out $3.69.
After about a nano-second of thought and deliberation, we left. Considering that high price for a BLT, and the assumed nastiness of the kitchen (in relation to the rest of the place), we left in a huff.
Sorry Sonic! I don't know what the problem is. I assume it's a franchise operation. If it is, this franchisee AIN'T DOIN THEIR JOB! I'll put my money on that place closing up soon, if it doesn't improve. It's a shame, considering how superior the Sonic Restaurants are in the South!
Maybe one day, they'll get their act together.

Here's the deal, there's not one! Pizza City offers a daily special of a Large with one topping for $8.99. This is good. The Pizza crust is exceptionally good. Again remember, there's no such thing as BAD pizza, there's just better pizza. Pizza City's standard is now, one of my top 3 in Delmarva. We also ordered a Gyro. It too, was very good, but over priced. Just in reviewing the menu, it appears many items are overpriced, so beware. If you just want Pizza, I say YES.. As for other stuff, NO (go shopping).

Obviously, that's what Vinny's is about. I recently visited there for a quick dinner, with my wife and another couple. The other couple had attended college at Salisbury years ago and said they always had fond memories of Vinny's. This is why we ended up there.
We all decided on pizza, my wife and the other lady guest also ordered salads. For the prices the salads were extremely skimpy. When the pizza arrived, it had a huge, burnt bubble in it. Of course, all the toppings had run off and the dough was dried up and over done. The space ruined by the bubble could have equaled a little more than a whole slice.
While I was upset, my friends were defending their nostalgic memories, telling me "..oh, we like pizza with burnt bubbles". Give me a break. I'm a true believer in; there's no such thing a bad pizza, there's just better pizza.
They can fool the College Kids who have money, but when it comes to quality restaurant food, they're not fooling me! Unless I suddenly start liking burnt bubbles in the dough, Vinnie's will not be on my return list.

As a connoisseur of pizza, I have to say Delmar Pizza is #1 on the Eastern Shore. I have had pizza all over the country, and this has to be one of the best.
Other menu treats at Delmar are also delicious. When you can pull me away from ordering pizza, I have to recommend a Delmar Pizza Calzone. The menu offers the Calzone Special, which is my favorite. Loaded with lots of ricotta, with a side of their delicious marinara.
A real "Mans Man" meal! Enjoy!
The only negative about Delmar Pizza is that they are always sooo busy, it slows down the service. They are currently in the process of correcting that by adding on to their facility.
