Tried this location out on a chance. The restaurant is tucked behind Route 13 near the college behind Superfresh. It was a pleasant surprise. Staff wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable of the selections. We tried a flight of excellent New Zealand wines with the cheese and meat appetizer which had a nice selection of treats. The main entrees of Rockfish Rockefeller and Tomahock Steak were well presented and delicious.

We would recommend this restaurant for romantic evenings and a gathering of special friends.

Our regrets were beening too stuffed to enjoy the dessert selections.

Our only complaint was with the exposed steel ceiling it reflected a lot of conversation noise. It made it a little difficult to enjoy the piano jazz
music. We will definitely be a return customer.

The best part about SoBo's is that there is nothing else like it around.. So if you're looking for something classy.. You found it! Excellent atmosphere. The service was good.. Took awhile to open a bottle of champagne (I think it was the first time she had ever done it) and they did kind of lose track of who got what when bringing the food to the table.. but other than that, the prices are good.. the appetizers are the best part. just sitting at the bar is a great way to go, or you can have the private back room that seats about 15 all to yourself with a tv and lovely lighting. Good for business presentations or a private party. The dessert looks as wonderful as it tastes. called "sins", desserts include bananas foster napoleon, mixed berry crisp, chocolate sin.. and so on. excellent. salads are great too. enjoy! :o)

I loved the food at Sobo's. Being a chili lover, the beef and chicken chili was fantastic. It's served with their homemade chips that were perfect for dipping. The rest of the meal was pretty good. It was kind of small portions for what you pay there. However. When I spoke to the hostess to ask her a question, she seemed upset that I would even bother her. She also seemed to look down her nose at me whenever she passed my table. I know they're supposed to be a very upscale restaurant, but the attitude doesn't have to be part of it.
