Lombardi's

Lombardi's has been serving the Salisbury community of over 25 years. We are Salisbury's oldest operating full-servicerestaurant, serving authentic stone-baked Pizza & Strombolis, Pasta, Subs & Sandwiches. Our entire menu is prepared in-house using fresh local ingredients. Our Manicotti is made with 3 Cheeses & our Lasagna from 6. Our Maranara Sauce is made fresh, and is one of our signature items along with our Jersey-style Italian Cold Cut Sub, our Great Soups and our fresh all breast Chicken Salad; and we even know how to make a Patty Melt. We don't offer a lot of fancy fluff, just authentic good food, served in decent-sized portions at very reasonable prices.

I've lived on the Eastern Shore for over 12 years and have eaten at many restaurants. As most folks have done, I too have rated eating establishments in my own head. As for Lombardi's, they're not in the top half of my list. Twice I've tried it, and twice I was very disappointed.
Another "over rated" local restaurant. The service was awful. Both times, the wait staff were members of the horrible generation, which can't pronounce the words "thank you". The pizza tasted homemade, as if "out of the freezer". The sauce must be aimed at little kids, who'll eat any pizza.
Have you seen the obnoxious TV commercials for Ovaltine? There's a bunch of whiney, obnoxious brats begging for Ovaltine. Well, Lombardi's has a radio commercial, that's been running for at least 3 years. It too has whiney, obnoxious kids all through it. Really irritating!
Even their 10 year old, worn out, radio commercial says it all.. (I can't believe the owners of Lombardi's has paid for these ads).. The announcer actually says; "the food is rather good". Rather infers; in comparison, and the competition is BETTER. Everytime that commercial comes on the radio, you'll hear a loud clicking sound. That's the sound of my radio being turned off.
Sorry Lombardi's but "Thumbs Down" and a big "BLAND" Rating from this epicurean.
