Parking lot was full and parked down a dark side street. Looked like there might be more parking in the back though. Ordered a Flank Steak sandwich which was perfectly grilled to order with tasty horseradish sauce on the side. Grilled chicken breast sandwich was under seasoned if seasoned at all. The basket of beach fries was more than enough for two and tasted freshly cut. Went at a busy time when it was packed with large parties of older woman but the service was still good. Decent price. They had some interesting daily specials posted. Nice size bar for solo lunches.

Wow. I have been to this place three times and haven't found any other place I would rather go for lunch. This is a really clean and happening place to go for a quick lunch or dinner with the hometown feel. The ordering was easy, the food came fast, and the waitresses....well I havent seen any better anywhere else in town. In fact, the waitress who served us was incredible. Didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly beautiful. Big brown eyes and dark hair, and a pleasant, yet energetic personality. Oh sorry, back to the review....The food is fantastic..I haven't seen anything that was premade frozen or prepackaged as of yet. Everything seems to be freshly made. My last trip was going to be the ultimate test. I ordered the fish and chips and asked that it be put on a bun, which of course, was absolutely no problem. See, the fish sandwich is always the best test of freshness in a place because it is either frozen in squares or truely a battered fillet. I was almost afraid to do it because I had enjoyed my first two trips there immensly, and didn't want to taint my perception. Let me tell you that I was pleasantly surprised when the order came out and it was perhaps the best rockfish I have tasted. Great job Back Street! I ordered a cup of clam chowder together with it and the chowder had real clam chunks and fresh cuts of large potatoes. Another compliment to the extraordinary meal. My total bill with endless glasses of soda, a side of skin-on french fries and a fresh slice of tomato with lettuce......$11.00. Listen, this meal as a dinner could have easily gone for 4-5 dollars more with no complaints. A definate stop for lunch for those in the Salisbury area, as long as you don't mind parking down the street. (This should tell you how popular this place is, and for good reason!) An $8 tip on a $12 bill---No regrets. See you again soon brown eyes...

Everything about this place is very nice. Food is good. Once you sit down, you feel relaxed. The staff are friendly. Wish I could have a place like this...

I was expecting a bigger selection here, esspecialy for dinner but besides that it's great. The menu isn't that creative but I love the "market street original" creat your own sandwich and salad... I missed that when Market was sold. Anyway, this place is a awesome to grab a sandwich or salad and a few beers. Very laid back and nice secluded booths. It can get loud here at night but in my opinion that's what makes it fun.
